SCOPE Can Lis residency, Mallorca, Spain

CONCEPT  Exploration of Jørn Utzon’s Can Lis, adding textiles and colour to render the specific experience of place and dwelling. 
Ten colours are developed to juxtapose and enhance the sandstone complex placed on the edge of the cliffs in Porto Petro. Underlining the impact of the fluctuating wind and sun to the sense of place.
Joint residency with director of photography Anders Malmberg, documenting the experience in stills and video.

PRODUCTION Ten colour recipes developed for Can Lis; periwinkle, mint, vermilion, cobalt, burgundy, sky, daffodil, emerald, fuchsia, carrot.
Ten pieces of 220 x 280 cm lightweight silk Pongé 05 hand dyed and sewn.
